As each PAUL MATTER piece is custom made, all production is only started after we receive a 50% deposit against an order. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. The completed goods are shipped once the invoice amount is paid in full.
RETURNS
As each product is made to order, we are not able to offer returns.
WARRANTY
Fixtures have a warranty for one year after they have been delivered (not after installation) against any mechanical defects. During that time, Paul Matter will repair or replace any defective components or product. After one year, components can be replaced or repaired for a charge. Please note, hard-wired light fixtures are listed for dry locations Use of higher wattage bulbs than included will forfeit warranty.
DAMAGES
Damages before installation must be documented and reported within 10 business days of receipt of the goods. PAUL MATTER is not responsible for repair or replacement of damaged lighting reported after this time. If damage has occurred in shipping all packaging must be retained by receiver and the studio must be informed in the first 10 business days. Failure to do so may invalidate any claim.
Any damage during installation should be documented and shared with the studio, so that the best course of action can be determined to replace or repair the same.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING
Damage caused by improper cleaning solutions or methods.
Damage caused by improper installation or assembly by the customer or the customer’ agent.
Damage to our fixtures, parts of our fixtures, or shades caused by the improper use of light bulbs.
Damage caused by exposure to weather or improper environment.
Any changes in the appearance of the hand-finished or un-lacquered finishes. These are meant to age in appearance.
Any costs of installation, removal, or re-installation. Restoration or repair work.
Any parts purchased separate from our light fixtures
